Creating stories that touch people is one of the greatest pleasures. I'm not sure where my ideas come from - from life, I guess. But I do enjoy writing about people who are slightly outside society: surfers to soldiers, dancers to divorcees, and even carnival workers in my beloved TRAVELING SERIES.
