When my daughter was born with Down Syndrome (and other issues) I founded two charities, one currently employs over 100 social workers. When my wife was diagnosed with cancer I started the research that has resulted in a number of cancer related books - The Cancer Survivor's Bible being the big one (www.fightingcancer.com) - but all the while I was writing novels. I now live in Spain near Valencia.
